George III mahogany Partners desk

Description:

A George III large Mahogany Partners Pedestal desk of pleasing proportion. The thumb moulded narrow cross-banded top surrounding a blind tooled dark green leather inlay. The carcass below housing three drawers each side.
The three drawer pedestals below having panelled cupboard doors to the rear enclosing a single adjustable shelf. The drawers are oak lined and cock-beaded . Brass double locks are fitted throughout.
The whole retaining a good colour and surface with attractively figured timber selected throughout. The brass knobs replaced.

An imposing desk with generous knee room to easily accommodate taller users.
