Hepplewhite period armchair

Description:

A fine and rare 18th Century Hepplewhite armchair. The elegant fully upholstered oval back met by cabriole carved and scrolled arms leading to turned, fluted and tapering legs at the front, crested by foliate carved paterae above . The rear legs swept and moulded.
The whole retaining an excellent colour and condition. The beech wood subframe also in superb condition {pre - upholstered images available on request}
Upholstered in pale steel grey damask with antique close nail detailing.
