Description:

A superb 19th century Coromandel decanter and games compendium. Beautifully made from Coromandel with fretted brass mounts and carrying handles all on an ebonised base. Once the Bramah patent lock is unlocked, the top lifts and the front opens forwards to reveal a mirrored satinwood interior the contents consisting of decanters, glasses, gilt crib board, markers and gilt trays, there are also 2 drawers for playing cards and counters, one of which is sprung and is opened by pressing a gilt button behind the centre decanter. In very good condition throughout.
