Description:

An early 19th century yew wood and elm Windsor armchair with crinoline bow stretcher. This Hooped back example having an unusual blind, un- pierced central Yew Wood back splat. The elm seat all supported by turned yew wood legs and connecting crinoline stretcher. Very good original condition and retaining great color and patination throughout. Nottingham, circa 1830.
