George III Mahogany two door library bookcase

Description:

A fine two door 18th Century library bookcase of imposing but elegant proportion. The cavetto moulded cornice with fluted border below and turned paterae. The astragal glazed doors enclosing four adjustable shelves. The base section comprising two richly figured panelled cupboard doors, mounted with matching paterae. The doors housing two fitted drawers and shelves all adjustable and retaining the original brass swan- neck handles.
The bookcase retaining a good rich colour and condition throughout.
