Description:

Two similar 19th century yew wood Windsor chairs with elm seats. The hooped backs with spindle supports and central pierced central splat. The turned legs below having connecting stretchers and featuring a bowed Crinoline front stretcher. Both in very good original condition and retaining a great color throughout. The " Christmas Tree " design on the back splat is typical of Nottingham makers in this period.
